How to Create a New Chatbot Flow from Scratch
Creating a new chatbot flow is the first step towards automating your customer conversations. This guide will walk you through the process, from a blank canvas to a ready-to-design flow.
Here’s the process:
- Navigate to Flows Management: From your main dashboard, click on Flows in the side navigation menu to go to the Flows Management page.
- Create a New Flow: Click on the "Create new flow" button to open the creation page.
- Name Your Flow: In the "Flow Name" field, enter a descriptive name for your new flow (e.g., "New Customer Onboarding").
- Choose a Starting Point: You have three options to start your flow:
- Start with a blank flow: This is the default option and will give you an empty canvas to build your flow from scratch.
- Start from a template: If you want to use a pre-built flow, you can select one from the "Or, start from a template" dropdown menu.
- Import a flow: If you have a flow in a JSON file, you can upload it using the "Or, import a flow from a JSON file" option.
- Create and Design: Once you've made your selection, click the "Create Flow and Start Designing" button. This will take you to the flow canvas, where you can begin building your chatbot flow.
