How to Create a New Chatbot AI Agent from Scratch
Creating a new chatbot AI Agent is the first step towards automating your customer conversations. This guide will walk you through the process, from a blank canvas to a ready-to-design AI Agent.
Here’s the process:
- Navigate to Agents Workspace: From your main dashboard, click on AI Agents in the side navigation menu to go to the Agents Workspace page.
- Create a New AI Agent: Click on the "Create New Agent" button to open the creation page.
- Name Your AI Agent: In the "AI Agent Name" field, enter a descriptive name for your new AI Agent (e.g., "New Customer Onboarding").
- Choose a Starting Point: You have three options to start your AI Agent:
- Start with a blank AI Agent: This is the default option and will give you an empty canvas to build your AI Agent from scratch.
- Start from a template: If you want to use a pre-built AI Agent, you can select one from the "Or, start from a template" dropdown menu.
- Import a AI Agent: If you have a AI Agent in a JSON file, you can upload it using the "Or, import a AI Agent from a JSON file" option.
- Create and Design: Once you've made your selection, click the "Create AI Agent and Start Designing" button. This will take you to the AI Agent canvas, where you can begin building your chatbot AI Agent.
